Project introduction:
Answer questions secretly using the radio function of the micro:bit
source: https://microbit.org/projects/make-it-code-it/tell-me-a-secret/
List of materials:
- Two micro:bits
- MakeCode program
- Battery pack (optional)
- A friend and a secret!
Instructions
Step
principle
You and a friend ask each other questions and the answer is "yes" or "no."
Press Enter button A to send "Yes" and button B to send "No" messages.
There will be a tick or cross on the LED display output of the two micro:bits flashing for half a second.
The program uses radio to secretly send answers-no one (except the other party) can hear the radio signal.
When a radio message is received, the program uses options to test the message:
If the received message is equal to "Yes", a check mark will be displayed on the LED display, but if the message is equal to "No", the display will go through.
Make sure that the radio group numbers on the two micro:bits are the same, you can use any number between 0 and 255.
If many of you use this program in the same place, you need to make sure that each pair has its own radio group number.
Step
Improve
-Display different icons or messages for "Yes" and "No".
-Use shaking, tilting, or using buttons A and B at the same time to send different answers, such as "maybe".
-Change "Yes" and "No" to "dot" and "dash" and send Morse code message.
