Project introduction:
A parachute is a device used to slow objects falling toward the ground.
There are two forces acting on a falling person
Here gravity is greater than air resistance
When the parachute opens, air resistance increases
Air resistance is greater than gravity
Finally, the speed of the parachute slows down, and the person can safely land on the ground

Surface Area total face value: Surface area is the sum of the areas of all sides of an object

Instructions
Step
STEP 1

Turn the top edge of the plastic bag inside out

STEP 3
Cut two lengths of rope, 30-35 cm each
Step
STEP 4
Cut a piece of straw, 5-6 cm in length
Step
STEP 5
Pass the two ropes through the straw
Step
STEP 6
Grab both ends of the rope and glue them to the inside corners of the plastic bag, tape them tight.

STEP 7
Grab the other end of the rope and tie it to the dinosaur.
Step
STEP 8
Find a high spot, drop your toy, drop your parachute and watch it go down.
